Elite Membership Module 4 Interview Day Ready
Handle every question type, run a full mock interview, and walk into the room prepared.
You’ve built your STAR answers. But a real police interview isn’t only “Tell me about a time…” questions. You’ll also be asked what you would do in situations you’ve never faced, why you want to be a police officer, and why this service, all on one day, in one room, with no second chance. This final module prepares you for everything else the panel will ask, and for the day itself.
What you’ll learn:
The five question types: recognize behavioural, situational, motivation, knowledge and closing questions from their first few words, and know what each one is really testing
Situational questions: a five-step approach to “What would you do?” that shows sound judgment and clear values, without needing to know the law or policy, plus an integrity scenario scored 2 and 5
Your opening and motivation: a focused “Tell us about yourself” using Present, Past, Future, and a “Why policing?” answer that avoids the clichés panels hear every day
Researching the service: what to find out, where to look, and how to link the service’s values to your own stories without faking familiarity
The full mock interview: how to set up and score a realistic mock panel, with an 8-question set covering every question type
Interview day: the week before, the night before, the morning of, what to wear, what to do in the room, how to close strong, and how to debrief afterward
What’s included:
Lesson guide (12 pages): six lessons, a scored situational example, a mock interview question set, a knowledge check with answer key, and a final readiness standard covering all four modules
Interview Day Planner (6-page fillable PDF): opening and motivation builder, service research and values map, situational practice, mock interview scoresheet, interview day checklists, debrief and readiness sign-off
This is where the course comes together. Walk in with evidence, structure and practice.
